MS LIVE! G6/7 - Week of Sept 21
Hello Parents and Middle Schoolers!
I am going to send separate newsletters this week for MS LIVE! (6/7) and MS CONFIRM! as we need to communicate information about the upcoming 2-day Confirmation Retreat to the MS Confirm! youth only.
Thanks to those that were able to come out last Thursday night to our MS Parent Social
. It was fun catching up with friends and getting to know new friends. We will do it again in October. I know some of you weren't able to make it this time. Super informal, husbands are welcome too!
This past Sunday, MS LIVE! started their faith education journey from the beginning.
We read Genesis 1 and discussed how God commented on each day's creation as good in contrast with his comment - it was VERY good - after the creation of humans. I encourage you to spend a few minutes talking with your teenager about our lesson. Consider building your conversation around the questions we used during our study.
How do beautiful things in nature point you to God’s creativity?
Why is it significant that Genesis says humans were created differently from other creatures?
All people were created in God’s image—how does that truth affect the way you treat other people?
